Donald Walz

Don Walz is a United States Navy veteran who served honorably from 1988 to 1992, including deployment to the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. His service during this critical time reflects his dedication to both country and mission.

A resident of Jamestown, North Dakota, Don is a small business owner, operating his own HVAC/R company where he provides essential services to his local community. His commitment to service extends beyond his profession and into youth athletics, where he coaches both golf and hockey for the Jamestown High School teams, helping develop the next generation of athletes on and off the field.

Deeply involved in the hockey community, Don serves as the Southeast District Director for the North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association. His leadership and passion for the sport play a key role in growing and supporting hockey programs across the region.

Through his continued service, mentorship, and leadership, Don remains dedicated to strengthening his community and supporting fellow veterans through sport and connection.
